SEMHA Receives $25K to Start a Help Fund 2010-06-08

SEMHA has been awarded a matching grant of $20,000 from the World Junior Championship Legacy Fund to start a SEMHA Help Fund to assist families in need pay registration fees and equipment costs. A similar matching grant of $5,000 was received from CBC Hockey Night in Canada Help Fund.

Registration for the 2010-2011 hockey season is now open. Register by July 15th to guarantee your spot (for returning players) and to avoid extra fees. In person registration scheduled for June 15 and 16 at Jim Durrell Arena.

SEMHA is embarking on a jersey replacement program. Starting in 2010-2011, some teams will receive these new jerseys sporting the new logo. All jerseys are scheduled to be replaced in the next 4 years.
