For the 2014/15 Season, SEMHA is happy to announce that we have partnered with Apex Sport Performance who will run our player skills development program. In years past, we have run Power Skating Programs and last season introduced a Puck Skills Program. This season, each hourly skills development session will include aspects of power skating, conditioning, and puck skills.
The program is designed to produce a more competent, durable, and skillful athlete through the improvement of their anaerobic capacity, dynamic balance, speed, agility, quickness, movement skills, reaction, strength, acceleration, and deceleration. As each athlete begins to master the foundations of movement, hockey-specific skills are introduced to build a more complete player. The program is geared towards all skill levels and will be beneficial to all SEMHA players.
We will offer programs at 4 different times this fall.
Online Registration (via our website) will open on Thursday October 9th . The costs for each program, will be $120 (8 sessions x $15ea = $120). Please watch the website for additional details. Space for each program will be limited to 36 skaters.
