Volunteer Info
The SouthEnd Minor Hockey Association (SEMHA) operates entirely through the efforts of Volunteers. Without them, over 400 children would not have the opportunity to participate in the Hockey Programs that are offered today by SouthEnd.
The more involvement we have, the stronger our Association is and the better the hockey experience will be for players and parents alike. We encourage you to take an active role in the Association by volunteering for one of the many positions it takes to make it happen and we thank you if you have already done that.
We have compiled information in this section to assist volunteers with their various positions. If you need help with anything, please don’t hesitate to contact members of the Executive or the Convenor for your level. If you have any suggestions about information you would like to see here, please contact the Risk & Safety Director.
All members of SEMHA are expected to adhere to the Code of Conduct. This includes athletes, parents, directors and volunteers.

Player Affiliation
For the Under-9 (U9) A & B through Under-18 (U18) levels, coaches may wish to affiliate players as a way of ensuring they have sufficient players on the bench. Players in Under-7 (U7) may not be affiliated. All affiliated players must be added to the roster of the team they are affiliating to for BMHL league games as well as tournaments. If they are not on the roster, they cannot play.
