Boundaries
Players who play hockey with SouthEnd must reside within the geographic boundaries of the SouthEnd Minor Hockey Association (SEMHA). Click here to view a map of the geographic area covered by SEMHA.
The boundary starting point is at Bank Street at Hunt Club Road. From this point proceed:
- South to the City of Ottawa/Gloucester boundary (just south of Hunt Club Road);
- East to Conroy Road, including all houses backing on to Hunt Club Road (North side of Courtyard Crescent);
- North on Conroy Road to Walkley Road;
- West on Walkley Road to the western edge of the Appts/Townhouses on Cedarwood Dr.
- North to the Greenbelt west of St Patrick’s Intermediate School
- Northeast, on a line through the middle of the Greenbelt (defined by Prospect Ave/ Thessaly Circle on the west and Featherston Dr/Roseglen Pvt/Rhodes Cr on the east) to Lynda Lane and up to Smyth Road (houses to the west of that line are SouthEnd);
- West on Smyth Road/Main Street to the middle of the Rideau River;
- Southwest following the Rideau River to Hunt Club Road;
- East on Hunt Club Road to starting point, including the Cotters Crescent Townhouses that back on to Hunt Club Road;
Also included in the SEMHA Boundary are all residences within the former Canadian Forces Base Uplands bounded by:
- Hunt Club Road on the North;
- Bowesville Road & Canadair Private on the West,
- Breadner Blvd on the South and
- Uplands Dr on the East.
